Payment Terms

1. Overview of the Payment Flow
RelayRigs is designed to distinguish between RelayRigs platform/subscription fees and funds designated for driver compensation. The typical flow is: assignment created, payment funded, funds secured, driver accepts, assignment completed, delivery verified, and payment released.
2. Funds Secured Status
Where an assignment displays "FUNDS SECURED," this indicates that the required driver compensation for that assignment has been funded through the applicable payment workflow prior to the driver beginning eligible paid work.
3. Not an Escrow Provider
RelayRigs does not represent its payment workflow as a legally regulated "escrow" arrangement unless the final payment structure and a licensed third-party provider expressly support that terminology. Funds are held and released through RelayRigs' designated payment processor in accordance with these Payment Terms.
4. Release of Funds
Driver compensation is released once agreed delivery or handoff verification conditions (such as proof of delivery, signatures, or photographs) are satisfied, subject to any dispute resolution process described on the Platform.
5. Fees
RelayRigs subscription and per-assignment platform fees are separate from, and are not deducted from, funds designated for driver compensation unless clearly disclosed at the time of posting or acceptance.
6. Refunds & Disputes
If an assignment is cancelled before completion, funded compensation may be refunded to the requester, subject to any work already performed. Payment disputes should be reported to support@relayrigs.com for review.
7. Third-Party Payment Processing & Taxes
Payments are processed through third-party payment processors subject to their own terms. Users are responsible for any taxes arising from compensation received or paid through the Platform.
